SELF RELIANCE Pt.3
• What does “forbear” mean?
• Something that caught my attention in the essay was “ it is easy in the world to live after the worlds opinion” that really caught my attention because many people go with the world opinion and what the world says and what everyone does around the world.
• A question that i have is, how would he know that we would feel like that 200 years later from when he wrote this essay ? was it cause he felt what he was saying and has gone through what he was saying ?
• In the essay i noticed a like he said that is so true and that it even relates to me and the line said “Under all these screens I have difficulty to detect the precise man you are.”
• In self reliance i read that i should be concerned about what i am going through and not what the world is going through and not be concerned about the world.
