Ready To Read Dr.Preston
I would describe myself as a new student just ready to learn and get my work done, i was like a shy type of person as i entered the class on August 12. Me as a learner i was looking forward to reading books and taking notes as i did in my other english classes the past 2 years as i would read lots of books or audiobooks and answering questions on what would happen in the book the main ideas and what the main characters would do and how they would act through out the whole book. Me as a learner now i am more comfortable with how we are learning and got used to doing blogs and i’m proud that i got a hang of doin all that online work and still doing it and will continue to do it cause i like how the class is. YOUNY GOODMAN BROWN
1. I think that Hawthorne wrote this book to show that not everyone is good to them selves. 2. At the start of the story we did not know much about who faith is buy as the story went on and we got more into it we saw that her personality does fit who she is.Goodman brown did have faith in her but by the end of the story he did not have faith in her. 3. The pink ribbons symbolize that she was someone special. 4. I think that it was a dream because in the story it states that, “ But, alas! it was a dream of evil omen for young Goodman Brown. A stern, a sad, a darkly meditative, a distrustful, if not a desperate man, did he become, from the night of that fearful dream.” The author is saying that it was just a dream. 5. I think that the old man is a greater man then other guys. 6. I think that the staff represents his consciousness telling him to keep going. 7.His life would be different and he would still have faith in everyone, and he would have his wife still.
