Jorge‘s Ideas

1. I think that Hawthorne wrote this book to show that not everyone is good to them selves. 2. At the start of the story we did not know much about who faith is buy as the story went on and we got more into it we saw that her personality does fit who she is.Goodman brown did have faith in her but by the end of the story he did not have faith in her. 3. The pink ribbons symbolize that she was someone special. 4. I think that it was a dream because in the story it states that, “  But, alas! it was a dream of evil omen for young Goodman Brown. A stern, a sad, a darkly meditative, a distrustful, if not a desperate man, did he become, from the night of that fearful dream.” The author is saying that it was just a dream. 5. I think that the old man is a greater man then other guys. 6. I think that the staff represents his consciousness telling him to keep going. 7.His life would be different and he would still have faith in everyone, and he would have his wife still.

Understanding time use helps my improve on making better decisions and choosing to use my time on other helpful things that can get me to do better in school and just be a better person.

The channel i prefer to communicate in is in person because you are actually seeing that person face to face with the person and you get to express yourself in person because if you are behind a screen the other person doesn’t know if you mean what you are saying and if you actually mean it in the way they think you are saying it in.

Something I have done really well in this course is so my best on my journals and really think about what am I gonna write about and keeping up with my journals.

     My first impression on the story of “The Earth On Turtle’s Back” was that how are the animals talking and how the little muskrat the smallest one of them all brought up earth by itself and none of the bigger animals could bring up the earth and the the turtle but the earth on its back.

Today during class i was thinking about me and my family going to Colorado in December with my aunt and uncle and their children. I was also thinking about how my classes are going and what i can do to be a better scholar and participate more in class.

   I have done many essays and when i do essays i get really stressed out because i can not find any of the information and at times i feel like not doing the essay but i have to do it because it is a part of my grade. The essays i have done i have gotten help on them by teachers and letting me know what to do and how to do it. Taking notes and getting help from a teacher or parent or brother has helped me in the past, what would make me better at doing essays is taking notes knowing the parts of the essay.
